Sergio Moreira is a Spanish music producer, who lives in Berlin. He has a long career as a dj, performing live all over Europe. In 2014, he invited two friends: Daniel Zambon (Sax tenor) and Leo Barreto (Bass) to jam with him on top of his electronic beats – the S.Moreira & Band was born. A mix between the pre-produced beats from the dj and the performance of the bass and sax, all together remixed live by Sergio.
The result is an improvised experimental music, influenced by funk, jazz, reggae and brazilian afro beats, combined with electronic tunes. In 2018, Leonardo Reyna joined the band on keyboards, adding more latin jazz and a special atmosphere to the whole mix.
The band performed not only in the Berlin electronic scene but as well in different clubs and festivals all around Europe.
