With ten solo albums since the iconic ‘Stadtkind’, and acclaimed collaboration Orchestra of Bubbles with Apparat, countless EPs, remixes and compilations, Ellen has carved her own niche in dark rave and techno. As head of BPitch since 1999 and UFO Inc. since 2018, she channels her passion for A&R, having launched the careers of some of Berlin’s most celebrated artists before going on to sign and develop the next generation, including German trans-media artist Rosa Anschütz, Dutch electronic producer Dollkraut/DJ Europarking and live hardware Berliner Sarah Sommers.
An always in-demand DJ, she has travelled the globe playing every major club and festival from Europe to South America, alongside iconic venues like Hamburger Bahnhof and Centre Pompidou. She runs her legendary 50 hour We Are Not Alone raves at RSO Berlin, bringing the party worldwide as UFO Rave, and her Vinylism parties celebrate vinyl culture in record stores from Paris to Miami. Her 2026 album ‘New Life’ is a provocation about collective action and what it means to create community in a time when these values are under devastating pressure.
