Einzelkind’s bubbling strands of deep-minded tech-house have evolved significantly over the years, transforming his linear dance tracks into serious mind-melters with a euphoric twist. This latest EP for Romania’s Naural label is without a doubt one of his best efforts yet, taking the house framework into some irresistible new territories. Starting with “The Hoal”, it’s clear that four-to-the-floor is a small relic by this point, as subtle infusions of breaks and eerie melodies take over the best part of the cut; “Bad Wire” feels like a continuation of that same vibe, except here the acid loops loom larger up above, forming a tight groove for the late night sessions.
